Michaela Strachan, who remains the bookmakers’ favourite at 3/2, finished just behind with 34 points. While judges praised her technical ability, they noted a lack of connection with her partner in some parts of the routine.
Anton Ferdinand also had a breakthrough week. Showing significant improvement this time around, tying Michaela for second place with a personal best score of 34. However, his overall odds remain long at 33/1, suggesting that the public vote may not be in his favour. However, if he can keep it up, he may see his chances improve.
Steve Redgrave Eliminated in Week 4
Sir Steve Redgrave's Dancing On Ice journey came to an end after scoring just 21.5 points, once again finishing at the bottom of the leaderboard. Despite some limited improvement, he failed to avoid elimination this time.
Summing up his experience, Redgrave gave a five-word verdict: "I haven't enjoyed the falling over." He added, “It’s been absolutely amazing, and this lady [pro partner Vicky Ogden] has been incredible.”
While fans were supportive of Steve, one fan thought it was the right time for his elimination, “Right decision this week, just not Sir Steve’s thing, but he’s still a legend.”
