What Is Festivus?
Introduced in season 9, episode 10 of Seinfeld, Festivus is a holiday “for the rest of us” as an alternative to the commercial, forced cheerfulness of the season. Celebrated on December 23, its hallmark traditions include the unadorned aluminum pole, feats of strength, and most notably, the airing of grievances - an opportunity to vent frustrations and share the many ways people have disappointed you over the year.

On Reddit, we analyzed highly upvoted threads within the r/AskReddit community, selecting only those with a minimum of 500 responses to ensure a broad range of input.
